HOW DO ONLINE SESSIONS WORK?

  • Students will use Zoom.

  • An email confirmation will be sent for every session with a zoom link as well as instructions.

  • No! The Zoom rooms are paid for by Bumo as part of our online virtual tutoring experience. 

  • No, Zoom is the only required program for video and screen sharing.

  • Yes, when you click on the link, you will be prompted to download Zoom.

  • Yes, in order to ensure that both instructor and student are focused on the session, we require that both parties have functioning audio and video.

    1. Academic tutoring + coaching

    2. Test Prep: SAT/SAT II/ACT/AP/ISEE

    3. College admissions Coaching

    4. Bootcamps + Workshops

  • We offer a wide range of subjects including all levels of math, chemistry, biology, physics, history, English, and Spanish.

    1. Schedule a diagnostic exam using our online testing system.

    2. Have your course design consultation with our Director of Family Success to discuss the plan of action.

    3. Begin test preparation with one-on-one sessions, workshops, and practices tests.

BOOKING SESSIONS

  • Contact luna@hellobumo.com or text/call (626)639-8810 and our Family Success team can help you book your sessions!

  • As long as an appointment is canceled 24 hours before the scheduled time, a full refund or credit will be issued. After the 24-hour mark, the client will forfeit the payment or credit.

  • We have times available Monday through Fridays and also on Sundays.

BILLING AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Sessions can be purchased a la carte or bundles can be purchased for extra savings.

  • We have a wonderful Family Success Team that can help resolve any problems and answer your questions.

OTHER FAQs

  • If that is the case, we’ll schedule a make up session at the earliest possible time.

  • Depending on the subject and the student’s needs, the instructor will send links of recommended materials to purchase.

  • See our “About Us” page to see our instructor’s credentials. All of our instructors are required to have scored in the 98th percentile of their subject. They also understand the four P’s of tutoring: Passion, Personality, Professionalism, and Proficiency.

  • Clients will receive an initial confirmation email and text message upon completion of scheduling a session as well as a reminder email 24 hours before their appointment begins.
