ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

How do you build a learning center that engages the whole student? In 2007, MeriEducation founder Joan Nguyen developed a unique learning experience that provides an alternative to cookie-cutter educational programs.

At age 21 and with only $3,000 in personal savings, she created a service founded on quality, innovation, effectiveness, and passion. One center evolved into four, and now, MeriEducation continues to redefine what families think they know about tutoring through our uniquely designed centers, our incredible staff, our techy innovation, and our personal touch.
